So it's all over bar the shouting I guess?
My last real training session was today, 45 minutes of high intensity gym stuff to get a feel for running thresholds and make sure I didn't have any residual problems from the muscle strain I gave myself a few weeks back. That means, with the exception of some shorter "leg stretch" runs and a nice long race that this will be the end of my blog being purely devoted to the horrific sport of running.
Here's one last little teaser photo for the run itself, but I have to go - somewhere between carbo loading and planning our hydration strategy there's a good luck pint with my name on it. And to paraphrase (possibly) Al Capone:
